Can I cover up an unwanted tattoo?
Yes in most cases it is possible, but your choice of cover up design is limited and the original design will need to be seen and your choices discussed with your chosen artist.
Can I use a sun bed while my tattoo is healing?
A fresh tattoo is delicate and easily damaged by ultra violet rays, either artificial or real. Use of a sun bed should be postponed until your tattoo is fully healed. Prolonged exposure to the sun/sun beds will over time cause tattoos to fade. Fake tan should also be avoided until healed.
Can I go swimming with my new tattoo?
Swimming with any open wound brings around the risk of infection, even in treated pools. You should refrain from all swimming activities until healing is finished.
I'm thinking of getting my first tattoo but scared of the pain. How painful will it be?
All tattoos cause some pain but this will vary depending on an individual's pain tolerance and where on the body the tattoo is to be placed e.g. tattoos on the ribs and other delicate areas being slightly more painful than say the forearm or bicep. Can I drink alcohol before my tattoo?
NO! Alcohol thins out the blood and will cause you to bleed heavily during the tattoo process. If we suspect you have been drinking you will not be tattooed or pierced in this studio and will be asked to leave.
